Signaling uses a public Nostr relay. Chat messages and files are sent over a WebRTC data channel, not through the relay.
Prototype security note: the six-digit PIN is a room locator, not a strong password. Public relays can observe room tags and signaling metadata. Do not use this prototype for sensitive conversations. Verify the peer fingerprint out-of-band before trusting a contact.
